Hello everyone welcome back to Pieta'sblogathon today I'm going to be sharing with you a piece of writing that I wrote. This piece of writing is about if I were on a ship going to New Zealand for the first time, as one of the first New Zealand settlers. Here it is......................
To My Dearest Mother
I have been on this ship for 7 weeks 6hours and 47 minutes. The water is smashing against all sides of the boat, and every ten minutes or so I find myself hanging out of the side of the ship vomiting. The whole time ive been here all I've eaten was a can of spaghetti and 3 plums. I hope you and the family are doing well,The captain says it will be a marvelous adventure to this new island. But I'm not so certain because six ships have already sunk and I'm afraid we won’t make it. The captain also says it will be at least another long four weeks. I’m currently working as a deckhand and am mopping up vomit every three seconds, there are no other children on this ship so am feeling a little lonely. Margaret the kind maid is keeping me company and she is very thoughtful.
Hope you are doing well I’m missing you terribly and can’t wait to see you again soon!!!!!
Love your seasick daughter, Pieta xxxxxx

that was really good, and I love how you said 'love your seasick daughter' that would be my mum (even if she had been on a boat like that for 5 minutes!)
